There are lots of nifty features within the app. You can choose to use them all or just the ones that align with your goals.
Step 1
Select your program, or contact Tania for an initial personal training or coaching session to help determine your needs. Sessions are available online or at the gym/pool. For personal training select your membership option and Tania will contact you to determine the best training programs for your unique needs.
Step 3
Get familiar with your workout videos before heading to the gym or pool. You'll need a device with internet access. For aquatic workouts make sure you have a waterproof case for your device and a small towel to dry your hands. While waterproof headphones or a portable speaker are recommended, they’re not essential.
Step 2
Upon completing your purchase, you'll receive an email with a link to download the app. From there, you'll have instant access to your selected program and workouts. For personal training Tania will contact you within 2 working days.
Step 4
Finish your workout and log your stats along with any notes or comments. If you have any questions, feel free to message Tania. You can also schedule additional one-off coaching sessions whenever needed.
Do I use my phone by the pool?
You can use any device as long as it has an internet connection. However, if you'll be near water, I highly recommend using a waterproof cover to protect your device from splashes or accidental drops.
Do I just follow along to the exercises?
Each aquatic exercise will be performed for a set duration, such as 30 seconds during the active phase, followed by a rest period that may vary based on your program. I recommend keeping a small towel nearby to dry your hands in case you need to pause and take a break during your workout.
How do I see and hear the programme?
We recommend you familiarise yourself with your workout videos before you hit the pool. Waterproof headphones are perfect for hearing workout prompts and enjoying your favorite music during your session. Alternatively, a waterproof speaker can also be a good option. Some clients choose to wear glasses in the pool, but this is a matter of personal preference; I've also seen clients use prescription goggles. Keep in mind you'll get wet, but you won’t be required to go underwater.
I enjoy working out in a group is this really for me?
The app features an option to join the Aqua Stars community group, where you can connect with like-minded individuals, potentially even those who live in your area. This group is a great place to exchange exercise and nutrition tips and ideas, share personal experiences, and find support from others with similar fitness and wellness goals.
